1. Touchheart786
All the talk of a recession and not getting a job did not get Siti and Mariam down. They started their home based microbusiness in 2008 making use of their meticulous tailoring skills and a keen eye for details. As the name ‘Touchheart’ indicates, they want to touch the hearts of their customers with their sincere services. Each baju kurung takes ?? weeks to make. And the month before Hari Raya is one of the months when the duo are at their busiest.
“We want to keep the art of traditional Malay costumes alive. As a way of giving back to community, we also teach needy students without basic knowledge of sewing for a nominal fee,” says Mdm Siti.
